We have two Practice Nurses and a Health
Care Assistant who work very closely with the Doctors and are trained to
do an extensive number of procedures and tests.
They may work along with the doctors, for
example assisting in minor surgery or work alone in screening clinics,
asthma and diabetes clinics and new patient assessments, etc. You may
book directly with the practice nurse for such services as foreign
travel immunisation, cervical smears, medical advice etc.
They are also in attendance at our baby clinic on Tuesday mornings.

| Our Health Care Assistant
works under the close supervision of our Practice Nurses. She is fully
trained to perform blood tests, blood pressure annual reviews and other
routine health checks. |
